Goodguys 23rd Meguiar’s Del Mar Nationals Car Show

The Goodguys Meguiar’s Del Mar Nationals returns to the Del Mar Fairgrounds for its 23rd anniversary run from April 5 to 7. Known as “America’s Favorite Car Show,” the event features more than 2,500 vehicles on display, ranging from rods, muscle cars, and customs to classics and trucks through 1987. On Friday, hot rods, trick trucks, and muscle cars compete on a timed road course for Goodguys Autocross. Live entertainment takes place at 11am and 1pm, and there is also a dragster exhibition at 1pm.
Saturday’s lineup features a full day of Goodguys Autocross, along with live entertainment at 11am and 1pm, the dragster exhibition at 12pm and 2pm, and a burnout competition at 12:30pm. In the Kids Zone, presented by Auto World, children can learn how to make a model at 1pm and take home a finished project.
All American Sunday features American made and powered cars all day long. There is church service at 10am at Mission Tower. Goodguys Autocross wraps up the weekend, along with an additional model-making activity in the Kids Zone at 11am. The Winners Circle and Awards Program capture the highlights of the cars on display as well.
