USA Surfing Championships and Team Trials
June 9-14
The USA Surfing Championships and Team Trials bring together some of the country’s best surfers and stand-up paddlers. From June 9 to 14, the competition takes place at Oceanside Harbor’s North Jetty. It includes adult shortboard, all ages in longboard, stand-up paddle surf, and para surf divisions. There are also team trials for longboard, stand-up paddle surf and race, and para surf categories. The event is an APP World Tour qualifier for stand-up paddling.
– Monday & Tuesday June 9 & 10- Para Surfing
– Tuesday through Thursday June 10, 11 & 12- Longboard
– Thursday & Friday June 12 & 13- Shortboard Adult & SUP Surf
– Saturday June 14- SUP Distance, Tech Races, Prone & Age Group Races
As the official USOC-recognized (United States Olympic Committee) and ISA-recognized (International Surfing Association) National Governing Body for the sport of surfing in the United States, USA Surfing is responsible for holding the USA Surfing Championships event each year and for selecting the official USA Surf Team to compete internationally at ISA Championships, Pan American, and Olympic Games.
