Farmers Insurance Open – PGA Golf Tour at Torrey Pines

The Farmers Insurance Open returns to La Jolla’s scenic Torrey Pines Golf Course with once again a new schedule change for 2025. The tournament takes place from Wednesday, January 22 to Saturday, January 25, making it the only PGA Tour to end on a Saturday. It is the 72nd year that a golf tournament has been held in San Diego, and the 15th year that the tournament has been sponsored by Farmer’s Insurance. Past champions include three-time winner Phil Mickelson, two-time winner Arnold Palmer, and seven-time champion Tiger Woods. The reigning champion from 2024 is Matthieu Pavon. Pavon’s birdie putt on No. 18 gave him a one-shot victory over Nicolai Hojgaard.
Spectators can expect to see four days of amazing tournament play, mixed with special events and offerings throughout the week. Tee times have also been adjusted to include later start times, with play ending around 4pm Wednesday and Thursday and 5pm Friday and Saturday. The later tee times allow for more creative special events for fans, clients, and sponsors.
