Bike MS: Bay to Bay, Carlsbad – Irvine
October 19-20
From October 19 to 20, bicyclists descend upon southern California for Bike MS: Bay to Bay. Hosted by the National MS Society, the cycling event seeks to raise more than $2 million to support those living with Multiple Sclerosis.
There are several route options for the event, ranging from 25 to 100 miles. There are one-day, two-day, and virtual options. The in-person routes feature scenic ocean views and challenging inclines.
This extraordinary cycling adventure will take you along the coast of Orange and San Diego counties. Day one will include a short route that starts in Carlsbad and longer routes that start in Irvine. No matter which you choose, you’ll ride along the coast and end the day at the Westin Resort and Spa in Carlsbad, where you’ll enjoy good food, good beer from BJ’s Restaurant and Brewhouse, music and an inspirational program. Day two continues with more views of the Pacific Ocean, where you’ll finish on the water at Ingram Plaza at Liberty Station in San Diego. Grab your finisher medal, more good food, beverages and a beer. Join a community of riders dedicated to changing the world for people living with MS, one mile at a time.
Beginning at 11:30am on Saturday, riders can relax in a beer garden and enjoy a post-ride meal at Sheraton Carlsbad Resort. There is live music starting at 12pm, followed by an evening ceremony at 5:15pm. The second day of the race also features food trucks, beer, and vendors from 10:30am to 4pm in Ingram Plaza.
