San Dieguito Heritage Museum
Vintage and Handmade Faire – Free Event
October 14, Saturday, 10 – 4pm
The Heritage Ranch, home of the San Dieguito Heritage Museum is having a Vintage & Handmade Faire, on October 14th from 10am-4pm. Experience a diverse gathering of artists/craftspeople, food artisans and vintage merchants.
Several artists will be demonstrating how they create their art, and the merchants will be selling vintage, retro, up-cycled wares, as well as artisan food. There will be live music, artist demonstrations, and gourmet food trucks.
The Vintage & Handmade Faire is the perfect place to discover a true treasure, that special work of art, but most of all, a great way to have a fun-filled day with family and friends (well-behaved/trained dogs will be welcome, on leash). The eclectic market presents an experience like no other!
Families Make History Program – Free Event
Every Saturday and Sunday 12pm-4pm
The Families Make History program at The San Dieguito Heritage Museum has some exciting art projects planned for the months ahead. They will be providing instruction and all the materials to create “stained glass” lanterns in October and “Circles of Gratitude” in November. Both provide a fun and creative outlet for artists of all ages. The end result will be unique decorations to take home to enjoy for the holidays.
Sunday at The Heritage Ranch is also a time to enjoy music while creating art. “Acoustic Afternoons” and the popular Families Make History program join forces to provide a perfect place for art and music lovers of all ages to spend an afternoon together making history.
