Port of San Diego Holiday Bowl Parade
December 28, 10am
The scenic, bayside streets of downtown San Diego come alive with the Port of San Diego Holiday Bowl Parade on December 28. As always, this exciting family event precedes the Holiday Bowl football game. The parade brings together world-class marching bands, magnificent floats, entertaining drill teams and the longest procession of enormous balloons in the country – even more than Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. Over 100,000 street-side spectators and a nationwide television audience can enjoy the parade. Parade festivities begin in the television area with the finals of the Solar Turbines 5K.
The parade is free to view but you can purchase grandstand seats. Grandstand tickets are available online for $22. They may also be purchased at the grandstands on the day of the parade for $25 cash only. Grandstands are located at the intersection of Harbor Drive and Ash Street.
Port of San Diego Holiday Bowl Parade takes place along North Harbor Drive, San Diego. For more information visit www.holidaybowl.com.
