Belmont Park Transforms into Boomont Park in October
For the fifth consecutive year, Belmont Park transforms into a Halloween-themed beachfront amusement park to create a family-friendly fall festival with activities for monsters of all ages. Activities take place every Friday through Sunday, on October 31, beginning at 5pm. Boomont Park’s frighteningly fun weekends include trick-or-treating from 6:30 to 7:30pm. Attractions include Zombie Laser Tag, Superhero Zip Line and Rock Wall and a pumpkin patch with an option to purchase pumpkins to paint.
Escapology interactive game is new for all to solve. It is a physical adventure game in which players are locked in an escape room and have one hour to find clues, unlock doors, pick locks and escape the room. Belmont Park’s Escapology features three escape rooms: Budapest Express, Th3 Cod3 and Antidote. The escape room experience takes over an hour but the game itself can last up to 60 minutes.
Onboard the famous Budapest Express (difficult rating 8.43), players must help solve a murder mystery before the killer gets away. Players must try to stop Nitr0 and unlock the kill code to stop a virus from draining 100 million United States bank accounts. Players in the Antidote escape room (difficult-rating 7.36) must defeat a rogue evil chemist and save the world from destructive chemical warfare.
Belmont Park also offers classic amusement park attractions, such as bumper cars, an arcade, laser tag, zip lining, rock climbing, miniature golf and water games. It is located at 3146 Mission Blvd, San Diego. For more information call (858) 228-9283 or visit www.belmontpark.com.
