As the nation’s largest urban cultural park, Balboa Park is home to 15 major museums, renowned performing arts venues, beautiful gardens, many fine restaurants, and the world-famous San Diego Zoo. The park has an ever-changing calendar of exhibitions, plays, musicals, and concerts. Each year, more than 10 million visitors enjoy the timeless setting of this must-see San Diego attraction. Concerts on the Spreckels Organ are free to the public and are held every Sunday at 2 pm for one hour, rain or shine.

Balboa Park’s popular Food Truck Friday program once again kicks off summer weekends in style. This year, Food Truck Friday presents a different musical performer each Friday night in the Plaza de Panama.
International Summer Organ Festival

Renowned organists from all over the world converge to perform at the Spreckels Organ Pavilion, which has been named the world’s largest outdoor pipe organ. Each Monday night at 7:30pm a different performer takes the stage, presenting a diverse selection of music in styles that include classical works by Bach and Mozart, modern compositions, pop music, musical theater, jazz, American standards, and more.
